I’ve always been a “pipeliner”, it’s in my blood. It’s who I am. Not everyone is cut out for this life, and that’s OK. I hope my music helps tell the story of work hard, play hard pipeline life so people can get a true feeling of who we are and what we’re all about. There’s a freedom and ruggedness to this life that allows me to see things in a different light than most and I hope that always comes through in my music.
One of the greatest compliments to me, is when one of the guys at work tell me about some young man that digs my music and wants to be a Pipeliner now! Or when a mother tells me “…every time I get in the car my boy plays one of the Boss Cotton songs over and over”.
The music on our upcoming album, our third release, will live up to this tradition and continue to teach people about the pipeline life. By the way, have you checked out the cover art content for the new album? It’s a chance for our fans to submit their ideas for the cover of our 3rd project. You can learn more here.
